Nearly half of America’s energy comes from coal. The harmful waste products from burning coal have not been dealt with in a serious way. That is, the solution for getting rid of the harmful bi-products of this fossil fuel does not have enough money behind it to really be meaningful. Yet the corporations that mine coal are still making fistfuls of money at the expense of human life, wild life and plant life.
Sungate Energy Solutions has learned that coal burning is actually causing acid rain in some areas because the coal industry has not directed enough financial resources on finding the answer as to how to burn cleaner coal so that emissions are reduced. Coal also has to be transported from the mines by vehicles that also cause pollution from their emissions.
It isn’t as if coal is limitless. It’s like any other fossil fuel in that eventually this non-renewable source of energy will be depleted. It’s true that it won’t happen tomorrow, but the damage that coal will do in the meantime is counter-productive to a healthy environment. Miners who work in the mines are at terrible risk for lung cancer and other diseases related to coal mining. The incidence of industrial fatalities is far too dangerous as we’ve seen in recent coal mining accidents.
Sungate Energy Solutions works with an alternative form of energy that is renewable, less expensive and leaves no footprints. It’s solar energy and homeowners have caught on to the advantages of switching from fossil fuels to clean, inexpensive solar energy to power their homes.
Sungate Energy Solutions has more information as to how you can make your home run less expensively and more efficiently with the use of the sun.
